That's exactly what listening for God's voice is all about! By spending time in prayer, reading the Bible, even listening to others, and discerning through situations, we can become more attuned to God's voice. We'll explore practical tips for slowing down in our fast-paced lives to create space for hearing God's voice and explore the importance of this practice especially for missionaries who may face cultural and spiritual barriers.
Everything is better when we develop a personal relationship with Jesus. Throughout the years, I have seen God speak to me in so many ways, and for me, the biggest challenge is sitting still. However, I encourage you in your everyday life to develop that special time with God and practice the Holy Huddle, as He will speak to you. Remember to be patient and persistent in seeking Him, and trust that He will guide you in His timing. Don't miss out on this enlightening episode!

In this episode, we had the privilege of speaking with Haylee Bazil, who shared with us her journey of leaving Texas and moving to Seattle, Washington to help plant a church. After hearing from friends who had left to start the church, she heard God say "GO" and she followed His call.
Haylee has utilized her skills in graphic design to help the church get started, and has been heavily involved in the children's ministry, as well as several behind-the-scenes jobs.
Her journey is inspiring and encouraging, showing each of us how to step out in faith and be obedient to God's call. In this episode, I share my year-long preparation to serve in Africa for one year, that has turned into 23 years and counting. From taking a personality test to training at Mercy Ships and participating in medical missions, I share my journey and the challenges I faced when leaving behind loved ones and personal comfort.
